Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Billing Functional Manager to lead the end-to-end design and delivery of SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing solutions. You will own the Billing workstream, translate complex rate and regulatory requirements into scalable SAP IS-U designs, and align with the broader meter-to-cash process.

You will guide cross-functional teams, manage workshops, oversee testing and deployment, and ensure operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Deep functional knowledge of SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing.
• Experience with time-of-use and interval-based billing.
• Experience leading requirements gathering, workshops, and design governance.
• Experience integrating Billing with SAP IS-U capabilities (Device Management, EDM, FI-CA).
• Travel frequency up to 40–60% and client-facing engagements.

Responsibilities

• Own the SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing workstream from design to post-go-live stabilization.
• Define the target functional design for Billing and Invoicing, including rate structures and billing schemas.
• Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap assessments, and design governance.
• Drive end-to-end integration across Billing and related SAP IS-U capabilities.
• Lead complex billing scenarios including time-of-use and interval-based billing.
• Develop and oversee functional specifications, documentation, and design decisions.
• Lead and coach the functional team, manage cross-workstream dependencies.
• Oversee testing and defect resolution for rates, tariffs, and billing cycles.
• Manage scope, estimates, risks, and stakeholder communications.
• Lead cutover planning and billing-cycle transition activities.
• Build trusted client relationships and provide functional guidance on SAP IS-U Billing.
