Job summary

UKG is seeking a Senior Salesforce Software Developer to administer, configure, develop, test, and support Salesforce Service Cloud and integrated enterprise applications supporting Customer Experience (CX) operations.

This role partners closely with Business Systems Analysts, Salesforce Administrators, Product Owners, QA Analysts, Architects, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that improve business processes, operational efficiency, and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
• 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce app development with 2+ years on Service Cloud.
• Strong experience with Apex, LWC, Flow, SOQL/SOSL, Platform Events, and REST APIs.
• SDLC experience in Agile/Scrum; experience with integrations to enterprise apps.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, test, deploy, and support Salesforce Service Cloud and related apps.
• Lead complex Salesforce enhancements with declarative config and custom development.
• Collaborate with analysts, product owners, architects, QA, and stakeholders to translate requirements.
• Provide technical leadership during design, code reviews, and planning with best practices.
• Develop and support Salesforce integrations using REST APIs, middleware, and event-driven tech.
• Plan and execute unit, integration, regression, and UAT testing for high-quality releases.
• Analyze production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and release management; mentor junior developers.
• Identify opportunities for automation, AI capabilities, and reusable components.
• Maintain documentation, standards, and deployment procedures.
