Job summary

UKG is seeking a Senior Salesforce Software Developer to administer, configure, develop, test, and support Salesforce Service Cloud and integrated enterprise apps for Customer Experience operations.

The role partners with Business Systems Analysts, Salesforce Administrators, Product Owners, QA Analysts, Architects, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions. A strong Salesforce development background and SDLC experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 4+ years hands-on Salesforce development, including 2+ years in Service Cloud.
• Strong experience with Apex, LWC, Flow, SOQL/SOSL, Platform Events, REST APIs.
• Experience supporting SDLC in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience with integrations between Salesforce and enterprise apps.
• Analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across business and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, test, deploy, and support Salesforce Service Cloud and integrated apps.
• Lead complex Salesforce enhancements using declarative config and custom development (Apex, LWC).
• Collaborate with analysts, owners, architects, QA, and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Provide technical leadership during design reviews, code reviews, and planning.
• Develop and support integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems (REST APIs, middleware).
• Design, execute, and support unit, integration, regression, and UAT testing.
• Analyze and resolve production issues; perform root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies: backlog grooming, sprints, estimation, releases.
• Mentor junior developers and share best practices to improve quality and consistency.
• Identify opportunities for automation, AI-enabled capabilities, and reusable components.
