Job summary

UKG is seeking a Senior Salesforce Software Developer to administer, configure, develop, test, and support Salesforce Service Cloud and related enterprise apps for Customer Experience operations.

The candidate will partner with analysts, admins, product owners, QA, architects, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that streamline processes and enhance customer experiences. Strong SDLC, integration, and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce application development experience, including 2+ years supporting Salesforce Service Cloud or related experience.
• Strong experience developing solutions using Apex, LWC, Flow, SOQL/SOSL, Platform Events, and REST APIs.
• Demonstrated experience supporting the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) within Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience developing and supporting integrations between Salesforce and enterprise applications.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with experience working across business and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, test, deploy, and support Salesforce Service Cloud and integrated enterprise applications.
• Lead the technical implementation of complex Salesforce enhancements with declarative configuration and custom development.
• Collaborate with analysts, product owners, architects, QA, and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Provide technical leadership during design reviews and code reviews, ensuring Salesforce best practices and security standards.
• Develop and support integrations between Salesforce and enterprise apps using REST APIs and middleware.
• Design, execute, and support unit, integration, regression, and UAT testing for releases.
• Analyze production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in Agile delivery processes including backlog refinement, sprint planning, estimation, and deployments.
• Mentor junior developers and share knowledge to improve quality and standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation, AI, and reusable components.
• Maintain technical documentation and deployment procedures.
