Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing sales team focused on growing our business, strengthening customer relationships, and delivering profitability across packaging solutions.

You will coach and develop your team, build senior-level customer partnerships, and collaborate with Marketing, Innovation, Customer Service and Operations to turn opportunities into results while upholding Amcor’s commercial excellence standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 10+ years of experience working in a large-scale B2B environment.
• 12+ years of relevant experience across technical, sales, and general management, ideally within the packaging industry.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Significant experience in senior sales leadership roles.
• Experience working within a multinational organization, ideally in packaging, FMCG, or manufacturing.
• Proven track record of delivering financial targets and growing businesses through effective sales leadership, continuous improvement, and disciplined cost management.
• Demonstrated success in identifying, coaching, and developing talent.
• Confidence communicating with and influencing senior-level audiences.
• Solid negotiation experience with a focus on creating sustainable growth.
• A track record of developing trusted, long-term customer partnerships.
• Solid technical and commercial aptitude.
• A good understanding of Amcor, our products, the packaging industry, and the competitive landscape.
• An appreciation for disciplined sales processes and the ability to embed them within a team.
