Job summary

Mee Derby & Company is seeking a Senior Sales Executive to drive new business growth in staffing/workforce solutions. This is a true hunter role requiring building executive relationships, opening doors, and closing multi‑million‑dollar opportunities across mid‑market and enterprise accounts.

You will own the full sales cycle—from prospecting to contract negotiation—while partnering with delivery and operations to design workforce solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of staffing or workforce solutions sales experience.
• Active network of decision‑makers you can leverage.
• Proven success landing and growing large accounts, $1M+ annual value.
• Experience selling staffing, RPO, MSP/VMS, BPO, HR technology, or related workforce solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own new business development within a defined territory and target account list.
• Leverage your existing network, referrals, and targeted prospecting to build a strong pipeline.
• Develop relationships with Operations, HR/Talent Acquisition, and C‑suite decision-makers.
• Lead consultative discovery and develop workforce solutions around each client’s needs.
• Pursue and close strategic accounts, including $1M+ opportunities.
• Partner with delivery, technology, and operations teams on presentations and proposals.
• Manage complex sales cycles from initial outreach through contract negotiation and close.
• Maintain disciplined pipeline management, forecasting, and consistent progress toward revenue goals.
