Invoca in San Francisco, CA seeks a Senior Sales Engineer to partner with Account Executives, architect solutions, and deliver real proofs of concept using customer data. You will own post-sale technical onboarding, craft scalable integrations, and influence product direction with field feedback.

The role emphasizes AI-ready solutions, guardrails, and collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to maximize deal value and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Sales Engineering, Solution Architecture, or Forward Deployed Engineering in a SaaS environment.
• Excellent communication skills - able to explain technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders (and vice versa) in real time.
• Strong business acumen: translate technical architecture into a value story and measurable outcomes.
• Comfort with ambiguity: scope a working solution quickly when requirements are incomplete.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives on strategic, high-value accounts - join calls, run technical discovery, and handle integration/security reviews.
• Build working proofs of concept against a prospect's actual systems and data to prove value before contracts are signed.
• Lead technical discussions with CTOs and Security Officers, defending scalability, data integrity, and security of the proposed solution.
• Own post-sale technical onboarding for key accounts - implementation, configuration, and first 90 days of operation.
• Create reusable tools and accelerators to speed up future deals and onboarding.
• Provide feedback to Product and Engineering based on field experiences to guide roadmap.
