Job summary

Cohesity is a leader in AI‑powered data security and management, seeking a Principal Sales Engineer to drive revenue and integrate Cohesity’s platform into enterprise environments.

You will partner with Account Executives to win complex deals, engage C‑level executives, and shape technical strategy across on‑prem, hybrid, and multi‑cloud setups. A strong background in cybersecurity and data protection is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven success in enterprise pre-sales supporting infrastructure, data protection, security, or cloud platforms in complex environments.
• Experience selling cybersecurity, data protection, backup, storage, or cyber recovery solutions across on‑prem and cloud.
• Strong knowledge of data security architectures, ransomware resilience, and competitive landscape.

Responsibilities

• Drive new customer opportunities and expansion by articulating Cohesity’s Data Cloud portfolio to executive, business, and technical audiences.
• Co‑own enterprise technical strategy with the Account Executive to accelerate deal velocity.
• Lead deep technical discovery to uncover customer risk and expansion pathways within enterprise accounts.
• Architect differentiated solutions and position Cohesity for ransomware recovery, cyber vaulting, and modern data management.
