Job summary

Cohesity is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to support enterprise sales engagements for its AI‑powered data security and management platform.

You will partner with Account Executives, deliver tailored technical solutions, and drive end‑to‑end opportunity execution across production environments. The role emphasizes collaboration with Product/Engineering and requires strong communication and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in pre‑sales engineering for infrastructure, data protection, security, or cloud in enterprise settings.
• Hands‑on with backup, recovery, data protection, storage, or cyber resilience technologies across on‑prem, hybrid and cloud.
• Working knowledge of data security concepts including ransomware resilience, encryption and access controls.
• Experience supporting proofs of concept, evaluations and technical decision processes.
• Ability to translate technical architecture into business value and outcomes.
• Experience partnering with Account Executives on complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and decision making.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to drive new opportunities by delivering tailored technical solutions.
• Support opportunity execution end‑to‑end with various technical and business stakeholders.
• Provide expert technical support through discovery, solution design, demos, and proofs of concept.
• Assist with technical strategy for enterprise opportunities and deal progression.
• Enable customers to integrate Cohesity products into production environments.
• Lead and support technical engagements such as workshops, white papers, and evaluations.
• Identify customer requirements and risk areas to shape compelling proofs of concept.
• Assist with competitive displacement by understanding customer environments and positioning Cohesity.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Support to relay feedback and drive improvements.
