Job summary

Cohesity is seeking a Principal Sales Engineer to drive new customer opportunities and integrate our AI‑powered data security platform into large enterprise environments. You will partner with Account Executives to win complex deals and position Cohesity as mission‑critical infrastructure for cyber resilience.

You will lead technical discovery, architect differentiated solutions, and deliver impactful engagements across on‑prem, hybrid, and multi‑cloud ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
• Security certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM) strongly preferred.
• Experience in enterprise pre‑sales supporting infrastructure, data protection, security, or cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Drive new customer opportunities and co‑own enterprise technical strategy with Account Executives.
• Engage with C‑level executives to position Cohesity as critical for ransomware recovery, cyber resilience, and data security.
• Lead technical discovery to identify risk, displacement opportunities, and expansion paths within large enterprise accounts.
• Architect and defend differentiated Cohesity solutions across on‑prem, hybrid, and multi‑cloud environments; support evaluations and proofs of concept.
• Deliver high‑impact technical engagements: demos, workshops, proposals, white papers, and PoCs.
