Job summary

ACCO Engineered Systems seeks a Safety Manager to lead construction safety programs across sites, ensuring regulatory compliance and a proactive safety culture. You will mentor safety staff, conduct hazard analyses, and coordinate inspections and audits to protect workers and the public.

You will develop site-specific safety plans, investigate incidents, and provide timely corrective actions while collaborating with field leaders, clients, and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field or equivalent
• CHST or CSP Certification is required; SMP Certification preferred
• Extensive knowledge of safety/environmental principles and techniques
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations
• Experience in construction operations and safety leadership

Responsibilities

• Lead safety staff toward a proactive safety culture and injury prevention
• Develop and implement site safety plans and regulatory compliance
• Coordinate inspections, audits, and incident investigations
• Provide training, analytics, and reporting on safety performance
• Act as primary safety contact for employees, management, and customers
• Build partnerships with field leaders, clients, subcontractors, and regulators
