Job summary

Accelevation LLC designs, manufactures and installs the physical infrastructure that powers today’s most advanced technologies. We seek a Safety Coordinator to lead site safety, ensure OSHA compliance, and drive training for Field Operations teams across projects.

The role requires conducting audits, managing risk, and maintaining records, with opportunities to collaborate with project managers on safety improvements and return-to-work processes.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in Construction Safety or equivalent.
• 2 years of safety management with a proven track record.
• Thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations and other safety standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.
• Demonstrated leadership with experience mentoring tradespeople.
• Self-starter who seeks work and expands knowledge.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel to construction sites for extended periods.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety as a core value and integrate with business decisions.
• Implement, monitor, and review safety programs with the Director of Safety.
• Stay current with federal/state OSHA regulations and owner requirements.
• Approve protective clothing, tools, and testing equipment; ensure maintenance.
• Conduct regular job site safety audits and stop work if danger exists.
• Review safety inspections and follow up on corrective actions.
• Participate in regulatory inspections and address violations.
• Ensure employees receive safety training appropriate to roles.
• Evaluate attitudes and awareness of the safety program.
• Enforce safety program compliance per disciplinary policy.
• Assist pre-construction and estimating with risk assessment and QC.
• Oversee accident reports and investigations for accuracy.
• Coordinate medical treatment and return-to-work processes.
• Communicate with insurance carriers on claims and settlements.
• Enforce Substance Abuse Policy and Safety Recognition Program.
• Maintain safety statistics and injury/illness/exposure records.
