Job summary

ACCO Engineered Systems seeks a Director of Safety to lead regional safety teams and drive comprehensive safety programs company-wide. You will ensure compliance with OSHA, Cal/OSHA, EPA, and related regulations, while guiding incident investigations and training strategies.

Responsibilities include data analysis to identify trends, risk management, and collaboration with leadership to align safety goals with business strategy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in safety, construction, or operations.
• 10 years of Safety management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional safety personnel and the Safety Leadership Team to drive safety performance and mentor management toward an injury-free workplace.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, Cal/OSHA, EPA and related regulations, representing the company in hearings and coordinating with regulators.
• Oversee safety inspections and audits across regional divisions and drive timely corrective actions.
• Collect and analyze safety data to identify injury trends and inform strategic planning.
• Develop and implement safety training curricula to ensure regulatory workforce compliance.
