Job summary

ACCO Engineered Systems in Boise seeks a Safety Manager to lead our safety program across field and shop operations. You will build a proactive culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with management to prevent injuries and incidents.

The role requires extensive experience in construction safety, CHST/CSP certification, and strong leadership to develop plans, conduct audits, and educate staff on risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction, maintenance, safety, or operations.
• Minimum 5 years of Safety management experience.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited program in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent.
• CHST or CSP Certification required; SMP Certification preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of safety/environmental principles and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and coach management and safety staff toward a proactive safety culture.
• Recruit, develop, and retain effective safety professionals with quality control.
• Plan and manage schedules, workflow, and workload to field staff.
• Perform job site hazard analyses and proactive site walks with sales staff.
• Manage internal and external safety inspections and audits, ensuring records are accurate.
• Serve as the technical safety advisor to ensure compliance with labor laws, OSHA regulations.
