Job summary

U.S. Engineering Construction is seeking a Safety Manager to lead corporate safety and health programs across projects, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement. You will develop training, conduct site inspections, investigate incidents, and collaborate with leadership to reduce risk and costs.

You will manage drug/alcohol testing, support safety committees, and act as a primary safety liaison for clients and operations across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field; equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of safety experience in construction or related field.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred, including oversight of safety training programs.

Responsibilities

• Stay current on construction safety standards and monitor safety programs.
• Provide leadership and guidance on safety policies; advise project leadership.
• Direct project and campus safety efforts for compliance.
• Collaborate with management to guide field safety coordinators and staff.
• Develop and implement safety training programs and crisis plans.
• Investigate incidents and communicate outcomes; support risk management.
• Manage drug and alcohol testing programs and serve as client contact for safety matters.
