Job summary

ACCO Engineered Systems is seeking a Safety Manager to lead a safety program across multiple sites, fostering a proactive culture and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will mentor safety staff, coordinate inspections, and advise management on injury prevention and corrective actions.

The role requires 10+ years in construction or safety, 5+ years in safety management, a Bachelor's in safety/engineering or related field, CHST or CSP, and willingness to travel to job sites.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction, maintenance, safety or operations.
• Minimum 5 years in safety management.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in safety/engineering or related field.
• CHST or CSP certification required; SMP preferred.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state and local safety regulations.
• Experience with construction operations and safety programs.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety staff and foster a proactive safety culture.
• Develop and implement site-specific safety plans and controls.
• Plan, schedule, and supervise inspections and audits.
• Advise management on injury prevention and corrective actions.
• Investigate incidents and prepare comprehensive reports.
• Coordinate safety training and regulatory communications.
• Partner with field, shop, and office teams on safety.
• Represent the company in regulatory matters and audits.
• Travel between multiple sites as needed.
