Job summary

ACCO Engineered Systems is seeking a Senior Safety Professional to develop, implement, and audit safety programs across construction sites in California. This role provides technical guidance and collaborates with field teams, management, and customers to ensure regulatory compliance and a strong safety culture.

The ideal candidate has seven years of experience in construction or related industries, a Bachelor's in Occupational Safety and Health or related field, and a CHST or CSP certification.

Qualifications

• Seven years of experience in construction, maintenance, safety, or operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field or equivalent mix of education and experience.
• CHST or CSP certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate training in-person, virtually, or via e-learning with the Training Dept.
• Train field leaders on safety protocols, programs, and hazard identification.
• Build strong relationships with field leadership and teams to improve safety culture.
• Develop site-specific safety plans and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
• Identify hazards, propose controls, and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate injury management and return-to-work processes with Risk Management.
