Mortenson is seeking a Senior Safety Manager to lead the Zero Injury Safety program across multiple project teams and sites in the United States. The role emphasizes safety leadership, training development, and collaboration with trade partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Occupational Health, or related field.
• High school diploma with CHST and OSHA 500 plus 14 years of construction experience
• Eight years as a dedicated safety professional managing large projects or multi-project safety programs

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and manage Zero Injury Safety Program elements across operating group.
• Lead safety program collaboration with trade partners and joint ventures.
• Conduct and review hazard assessments with project management during planning and construction.
• Develop and conduct safety training, including train-the-trainer sessions.
• Oversee safety documentation, injury and hazard statistics, and OSHA reports.
