Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a VP of Business Development for Roofing to own large multi-location deals from first meeting to signed contract. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, remote across USA or Canada, focused on enterprise roofing accounts.

You will handle full-cycle deals spanning discovery to close over 3–12 months, engaging owners, regional operators and marketing leaders. Success requires closing $1M+ annually for multi-location groups.

Qualifications

• A track record of closing $1M+ per year on large, multi-location or enterprise accounts.
• Experience selling to roofing groups or multi-location buyers within marketing or agency services.
• Long, consultative sales cycles with multiple decision makers.
• Prefer closing over people management.

Responsibilities

• Own the full cycle on large deals: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close (3–12 months).
• Engage with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders at the table.
• Drive expansion: add locations and services after sign-on across groups.
• Collaborate with strategists and leadership to build compelling proposals.
