Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a VP of Business Development for Roofing who will own the largest multi-location roofing accounts from first meeting to signed contract. This is an individual contributor role with a $2M annual quota and no direct reports, focused on multi-market groups you open and close.

The role is remote within the USA or Canada, demanding a strategic approach to complex, multi-stakeholder negotiations across several markets.

Qualifications

• Close $1M+ annually on large, multi-location or enterprise accounts.
• Experience selling to roofing groups or similar multi-location buyers.
• Long consultative cycles with several decision makers.
• Prefer closing business over managing people.

Responsibilities

• The full cycle on large deals: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close, over 3 to 12 months.
• Deals with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders all at the table.
• Expansion: more locations and more services once a group signs.
• Proposals built with our strategists and leadership for the deals that matter most.
