Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Director of Sales for Roofing to own the largest multi-location roofing deals from first meeting to signed contract. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, remote within the USA or Canada, and a $2M annual quota across multiple markets.

The ideal candidate closes $1M+ annually, handles consultative cycles with several stakeholders, and expands after signings to cover more locations and services.

Qualifications

• A track record of closing $1M+ annual deals with large, multi-location or enterprise accounts.
• Experience selling into roofing groups or similar multi-location buyers.
• Long, consultative sales cycles with several decision makers.
• Prefer closing business over managing people.

Responsibilities

• The full cycle on large deals: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close, spanning 3 to 12 months.
• Engage with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders at the table.
• Drive expansion to more locations and services after a group signs.
• Collaborate with strategists and leadership to build proposals for key deals.
