Barrette Workforce Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Applications Engineer for robotic welding and automated systems. This on-site role in the Pewaukee, WI area requires 7+ years in welding automation, strong GMAW/GTAW knowledge, and the ability to architect cell concepts (FANUC/ABB) while developing high-margin proposals.

You will collaborate with Sales and Engineering, review customer prints, and lead feasibility studies with occasional travel to customer facilities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in welding automation or robotic systems integration.
• Experience with GMAW/GTAW processes and welding metallurgy.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sales technical activity, review parts and specs to evaluate weld feasibility.
• Architect welding automation concepts and robot cell layouts; develop technical proposals.
• Coordinate trials and testing to validate solutions before contract.
• Travel to customer sites ~15% for requirements gathering and reviews.
• Ensure compliance with AWS D1.1 and ASME IX standards.
