Expect ~15% travel for technical discovery and presentations. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in welding automation with GMAW/GTAW expertise, a relevant degree, and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in welding automation or robotic systems integration.
• Understanding of GMAW/MIG and GTAW/TIG welding processes and metallurgy.
• Proficiency reviewing or drafting cell layouts using CAD tools.
• Excellent presentation and client-facing communication skills.
• Must reside within 45 minutes of Pewaukee, WI and have US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical feasibility by reviewing parts and specs to evaluate weld feasibility.
• Architect welding automation concepts including power sources and cell layouts.
• Develop technical proposals with layouts, cycle times, labor hours and BOMs.
• Coordinate weld sample evaluations and feasibility testing prior to contract.
• Travel to customer facilities ~15% to gather requirements and present solutions.
• Ensure weld processes align with standards (AWS D1.1, ASME IX) and customer specs.
