Qualifications

• 7+ years of welding automation, pre-sales engineering, or robot systems integration.
• Solid understanding of GMAW/MIG, GTAW/TIG, and robotic arc welding processes.
• Proficiency reviewing or drafting cell layouts using AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Strong presentation and client-facing communication skills.
• U.S. Citizenship or Green Card holder within commuting distance of Pewaukee, WI.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sales technical feasibility reviews by evaluating parts, drawings, and specs.
• Architect welding automation concepts, select processes, power sources, and robot layouts.
• Develop technical proposals with layouts, cycle times, labor hours, and BOMs.
• Coordinate weld trials and feasibility testing to validate solutions.
• Travel to customer sites (~15% domestically/internationally) for requirements and reviews.
• Ensure weld processes meet AWS D1.1, ASME IX and customer specs.
