Talent Solutions Partners in Pewaukee, WI is seeking a Pre-Sales Applications Engineer to lead robotic welding and automated systems proposals. You will review customer prints, architect robot cells (FANUC/ABB), and develop high-margin technical proposals for on-site deployments.

The role requires 7+ years in welding automation and a 2- or 4-year engineering degree, with 15%–20% travel and full-time, on-site work in the Pewaukee area.

Qualificações

• 7+ years in welding automation, pre-sales, or robotic systems integration.
• Solid understanding of GMAW/MIG, GTAW/TIG welding and automation feasibility.
• CAD/layout literacy with AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills.
• U.S. Citizenship or Green Card; reside within ~45-minute Pewaukee driving radius.

Responsabilidades

• Lead technical feasibility by reviewing parts and specs to assess weld feasibility.
• Architect welding automation concepts, including cell layouts and tooling.
• Develop technical proposals with layouts, cycle times and BOMs.
• Coordinate weld process trials and feasibility testing before contracts.
• Travel to customer facilities (~15%) to gather requirements and present solutions.
• Ensure weld processes meet industry standards and customer specs.
