Job summary

EisnerAmper is seeking a Risk Management Manager to lead risk management for the Financial Advisory Services (FAS) practice. You will partner with FAS leadership and engagement teams to implement practical controls from intake to closure, coordinating with GCO and outside counsel as needed.

You will help shape risk management across a fast-paced practice, ensuring independence, conflicts checks, and compliant processes across diverse engagements while preserving high-quality client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in risk management, quality control, compliance, or a related function within a professional services organization, such as a CPA firm, law firm, or consulting firm
• A working understanding of restructuring, bankruptcy, complex litigation, or other financial advisory engagements, including ABC matters
• Working knowledge of independence and conflicts‑of‑interest requirements applicable to a professional services firm

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate NDAs, engagement letters, and client agreements across restructuring, bankruptcy, complex litigation, and other FAS engagements
• Prepare and negotiate vendor, subcontractor, and consulting agreements needed to support ABC administration and other FAS engagement delivery
• Draft and negotiate employment and contractor agreements, including agreements for the hiring and administration of international personnel
• Provide advice and counsel to FAS engagement teams on routine risk issues across engagements
• Support engagement teams in performing assignee and fiduciary duties on ABC engagements, including creditor notice, claims administration, and asset sale or liquidation processes
• Advise engagement teams on independence, conflicts, and disclosure obligations arising on complex litigation and dispute advisory engagements
