Job summary

Axon is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to own the design, development, and validation of complex electrical systems for mission-critical, connected hardware. You will join a founding hardware team with ownership across the lifecycle, shaping technical architecture and engineering standards.

You will work on schematics, RF coexistence, mechanical integration, form factor, and hardware debugging across challenging cellular and RF frequencies, ensuring power, thermal performance, and signal

Qualifications

• 7+ years of embedded electronics design experience.
• Experience with PCB design, RF integration, and hardware bring-up for highly integrated devices.
• Experience designing for RF coexistence and signal integrity.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and design partners.

Responsibilities

• Design mixed-signal schematics and PCB layouts across processors, RF transceivers, power management and memory.
• Design and validate RF and radio systems across multiple wireless technologies.
• Collaborate with Mechanical and Industrial Design on board layout and form factor.
• Bring up, characterize and troubleshoot hardware with RF test equipment.
• Drive BOMs, documentation, verification, and production readiness from concept to mass production.
• Provide technical leadership and review designs with partners.
