Axon is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to own design, development, and validation of complex electrical systems for mission-critical, connected hardware. You will lead hardware lifecycle, set architecture standards, and collaborate across RF, mechanical, and production teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of embedded electronics design experience and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• Experience with PCB design and layout, RF integration, and hardware bring-up for highly integrated devices.
• Experience meeting hardware standards and collaborating across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Electrical & Board Design: develop mixed-signal schematics and drive PCB layout across processors, RF transceivers, power management, and interfaces.
• RF Integration & Coexistence: design and validate RF systems across wireless tech, addressing performance and EMI/EMC concerns.
• Mechanical Integration: collaborate to optimize board layout, antenna integration, and form factor within tight constraints.
• Bring-Up & Debugging: bring up, characterize, and troubleshoot hardware with test gear.
• Production Readiness: drive BOMs, design docs, verification, and readiness from concept to mass production.
• Technical Leadership: provide direction to engineers and external design partners, ensuring hardware objectives are met.
