Job summary

Axon is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to own the design, development, and validation of complex electrical systems for mission-critical, connected hardware. You will help establish the architecture and engineering standards across the hardware lifecycle, collaborating on schematics, RF coexistence, mechanical integration, and high-speed interfaces.

As a founding member of our hardware team, you will lead bring-up, debug, and production readiness activities, and provide technical direction

Qualifications

• 7+ years of embedded electronics design experience.
• PCB design and layout, RF integration and coexistence, mechanical integration, and hardware bring-up/debugging.
• Experience across embedded subsystems including processors, memory, power, wireless/RF integration, and high-speed interfaces.
• Experience taking electronics from concept to mass production and meeting safety/regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Electrical & board design: develop mixed-signal schematics and drive PCB layout.
• RF integration & coexistence: design and validate RF systems across wireless technologies.
• Mechanical integration: collaborate on board layout and antenna integration within tight form factors.
• Bring-up & debugging: characterize and troubleshoot hardware with test equipment.
• Production readiness: BOMs, verification, and readiness from concept to mass production.
• Technical leadership: guide electrical engineering team and external partners.
