Job summary

Axon is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer to own design, development, and validation of complex electrical systems for mission‑critical hardware. You will lead the hardware lifecycle, influence architecture, and collaborate across RF, mechanical, and test teams.

You’ll work on schematics, PCB design, RF integration, and production readiness, while guiding others and partnering with external design partners. Remote eligibility may be case‑by‑case.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of embedded electronics design experience.
• PCB design and layout, RF integration and coexistence, mechanical integration, and hardware bring‑up/debugging for highly integrated devices.
• Experience with Cadence OrCAD and Allegro and RF test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Electrical & Board Design: Develop mixed‑signal schematics and drive PCB layout across processors, RF transceivers, power management, and interfaces.
• RF Integration & Coexistence: Design and validate RF/radio systems across wireless technologies with EMC considerations.
• Mechanical Integration: Collaborate with Mechanical/Industrial Design for antenna integration and form factor.
• Bring‑Up & Debugging: Bring up and troubleshoot hardware using oscillosopes, spectrum analyzers, and test equipment.
• Production Readiness: Drive BOMs, documentation, verification, and readiness from concept to mass production.
• Technical Leadership: Guide electrical engineering team members and external partners.
