Job summary

Axon seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to own the design, development, and validation of complex electrical systems for mission-critical hardware. You will lead across schematics, RF, mechanical integration, and test to enable scalable production.

As a founding hardware team member, you will help establish architecture and engineering standards, driving hardware objectives to completion while collaborating with cross-functional partners across locations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of embedded electronics design experience with battery-powered or high-density systems.
• Experience with PCB design and RF integration for highly integrated devices.
• Experience bringing electronics from concept through mass production and certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop mixed-signal schematics and drive PCB layout across processors, RF transceivers, and power management.
• Design and validate RF systems across multiple wireless technologies and ensure EMC compatibility.
• Collaborate with Mechanical and Industrial Design to optimize form factor and antenna integration.
• Bring up, characterize, and troubleshoot hardware using oscilloscope, spectrum analyzers, and test equipment.
• Drive BOMs, design docs, verification, and readiness from concept to mass production.
• Provide technical leadership to EE team members and external partners.
