Job summary

Axon is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to own the design, development, and validation of complex electrical systems for mission-critical, connected hardware. You will lead across schematics, RF coexistence, mechanical integration, and debugging in a hybrid work model with relocation assistance available.

You will bring 7+ years of embedded electronics experience, strong Cadence tools, and a track record of moving designs from concept to production.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of embedded electronics design with related degree.
• PCB design and RF coexistence, hardware bring-up, and verification for highly integrated devices.
• Experience across embedded subsystems including processors, memory, power, wireless/RF integration.
• Experience taking electronics from concept through schematic and PCB design to mass production.
• RF coexistence, signal integrity, power integrity and EMC considerations.

Responsibilities

• Develop mixed-signal schematics and drive PCB layout for processors, RF transceivers, power management, memory and high-speed interfaces.
• Design and validate RF and radio systems across multiple wireless technologies.
• Collaborate with Mechanical and Industrial Design for layout and form factor within tight constraints.
• Bring up, characterize, and troubleshoot hardware using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers and power supplies.
• Drive BOMs, design docs, verification, and electrical readiness from concept through certification and mass production.
• Provide technical leadership and review designs with engineering teams and external partners.
