Job summary

Axon is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer to own design, development and validation of complex electrical systems for mission-critical hardware. You will lead across schematics, RF coexistence, mechanical integration and debugging, with ownership of the hardware lifecycle.

As a founding member of the hardware team, you will set technical direction, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help scale from concept to mass production while working in a hybrid onsite model at multiple hubs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of embedded electronics design experience.
• PCB design and layout, RF integration and coexistence.
• Experience with hardware bring‑up, verification, and manufacturing ramp.

Responsibilities

• Electrical & Board Design: Develop mixed-signal schematics and drive PCB layout across processors, RF transceivers, power management, memory, and high-speed interfaces.
• RF Integration & Coexistence: Design and validate RF systems across wireless technologies, addressing performance, interference and EMC.
• Mechanical Integration: Collaborate with mechanical design to optimize board layout and antenna integration within tight form factors.
• Bring‑Up & Debugging: Bring up, characterize, and troubleshoot hardware with scopes, analyzers, and power supplies.
• Production Readiness: Drive BOMs, design docs, verification, and electrical readiness from concept through mass production.
• Technical Leadership: Guide electrical engineering team and external partners to complete hardware objectives.
