Job summary

Axon is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to own the design, development, and validation of complex electrical systems for mission-critical hardware. You will be a founding member of the hardware team, shaping architecture and standards to scale.

You will tackle PCB design, RF integration, mechanical alignment, and production readiness, with leadership responsibilities and collaboration across global partners. Hybrid work with relocation options available.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of embedded electronics design experience in high-density or battery-powered systems.
• Proven PCB design and RF integration experience on highly integrated devices.
• Experience with EMC, signal integrity, and RF coexistence across bands.
• Hands-on hardware bring-up, debugging with test equipment, and certification readiness.
• Strong collaboration across cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 50% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Own design, development, and validation of complex electrical systems.
• Lead hardware lifecycle from concept through mass production.
• Design boards with RF transceivers, power management and connectors.
• Drive hardware validation, debugging, and test plan execution.
• Provide technical direction to team members and partners.
• Ensure compliance with US and international hardware standards.
