Axon 911 is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer to own the design, development and validation of complex electrical systems for mission-critical, connected hardware. As a founding member of the hardware team, you will set architectural standards and drive cross-functional collaboration across schematics, RF, mechanical integration and debugging.

You will bring-up hardware, validate performance, ensure production readiness, and guide components through BOMs, documentation and manufacturing ramp.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of embedded electronics design experience.
• Experience with PCB design, RF coexistence, mechanical integration and hardware bring-up/debugging.
• Experience from concept through schematic/PCB design, verification, certification, and mass production.
• Strong RF coexistence understanding across cellular bands and signal integrity considerations.
• Proficiency with Cadence OrCAD and Allegro and RF test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Own design, development and validation of complex electrical systems for mission-critical hardware.
• Lead electrical engineering efforts across schematics, board layout and RF integration.
• Collaborate with Mechanical and Industrial Design for form factor and antenna integration.
• Bring up, characterize and troubleshoot hardware using RF and electrical test equipment.
• Drive BOMs, documentation, verification and readiness from concept to mass production.
• Provide technical leadership and review designs with external partners.
