Job summary

Axon is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to own the design, development and validation of complex electrical systems for mission-critical, connected hardware. You will influence architecture and engineering standards across the hardware lifecycle.

You will work on schematics and layout, RF coexistence, mechanical integration, debugging, and production readiness, leading a team of engineers and partners to deliver scalable, safe public-safety hardware.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of embedded electronics design experience with high-density, battery-powered or low-power systems.
• Experience with PCB design and layout, RF integration and coexistence, mechanical integration and hardware bring-up.
• Experience from concept through schematic and PCB design to mass production.
• Knowledge of RF coexistence, signal integrity, and EMC considerations.
• Hands-on use of Cadence OrCAD and Allegro and RF test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Electrical & board design across processors, RF transceivers, power management and memory.
• RF integration and coexistence across multiple wireless technologies.
• Mechanical integration with antenna and form factor constraints.
• Bring-up, debugging and characterization using test equipment.
• Drive BOMs, documentation and production readiness.
• Provide technical leadership to engineering teams and partners.
