Job summary

Axon is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer to own the design, validation, and integration of complex RF hardware for mission-critical devices. You will lead the hardware lifecycle from schematics through production, with ownership across RF coexistence, board design, and test.

You will work with cross-functional teams, including mechanical and industrial design, to optimize form factors, thermal, and signal integrity.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of embedded electronics design experience.
• Experience with PCB design and RF integration for highly integrated devices.
• Ability to bring up, debug, and validate hardware across RF and power domains.
• Familiarity with design for manufacturing and regulatory standards.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration across distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop mixed-signal schematics and PCB layouts for RF hardware.
• Design and validate RF/transceiver systems across multiple wireless bands.
• Coordinate mechanical integration and antenna placement within form factors.
• Bring up hardware, characterize RF performance, diagnose failures.
• Drive production readiness, BOMs, documentation, and verification.
• Provide technical leadership to internal and external design partners.
