Job summary

Axon is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, development, and validation of complex electrical systems for mission-critical, connected hardware. As a founding hardware team member, you will own architecture decisions and drive the full hardware lifecycle, including RF coexistence, board layout, and production readiness.

You will collaborate across mechanical, RF, and software teams to solve high-density, power-aware design challenges and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of embedded electronics design experience.
• Experience with PCB design and RF coexistence across cellular/LMR bands.
• Experience bringing electronics from concept to mass production.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards for hardware and wireless devices.

Responsibilities

• Design mixed-signal schematics and drive PCB layout for processors and RF components.
• Design and validate RF systems across multiple wireless technologies and ensure coexistence.
• Coordinate with Mechanical and Industrial Design for enclosure and antenna integration.
• Bring up, characterize, and debug hardware using test equipment.
• Drive BOMs, design docs, and verification through to mass production.
• Provide technical leadership to EE team and external partners.
