Job summary

Ascensus is a leading independent technology and service platform powering savings plans across America. The Client Services Consultant will deliver consultative service, share retirement plan expertise, and collaborate with Relationship Managers to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

The role requires strong communication, project management, and the ability to mentor peers while supporting senior staff.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 3–5 years direct client experience in Retirement Services preferred.
Certification or working towards certification (ASPPA, CEBS, etc.) preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication with all levels.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word and Excel; Access/PowerPoint preferred.
Strong knowledge of retirement plans, ERISA, DOL and IRS regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide consultative client service to partners, intermediaries and plan sponsors.
Communicate and coordinate with clients to address issues and deliver solutions.
Coach and mentor associates to meet client expectations.
Manage escalated items and ensure timely resolution.
Develop strong internal relationships across departments and locations.
Support strategic plans to retain clients and grow the book of business.
