Job summary

Ascensus is seeking a Client Services Consultant to deliver expert retirement plan guidance to partners, intermediaries, and plan sponsors. You will combine technical knowledge with proactive service, identifying issues and delivering creative solutions in collaboration with the Relationship Manager.

You will coach teammates, maintain strong client relationships, and ensure accurate communication throughout the service cycle while upholding Ascensus values and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years direct client experience preferred in Retirement Services.
• Certification (ASPPA, CEBS) preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with all levels.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office—Word/Excel; Access/PowerPoint preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative client service to partners, intermediaries and plan sponsors.
• Demonstrate retirement plan expertise and Ascensus products to resolve complex issues.
• Coach and mentor associates to ensure client expectations are met.
• Maintain strong client relationships and deliver updates on product and plan initiatives.
• Manage escalated client items and coordinate with Relationship Manager on strategy.
