Job summary

Ascensus is the leading independent technology and service platform powering savings plans across America. The Client Services Consultant will provide expert retirement plan guidance to partners, intermediaries and plan sponsors, delivering consultative service and tailored solutions to complex issues.

The role supports the Relationship Manager to ensure client satisfaction, proactively addressing needs, and mentoring colleagues to uphold Ascensus' standards of service and integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1–3 years direct client experience required; retirement services experience preferred.
• Certification or working towards certification (ASPPA, CEBS) preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative client service to partners, intermediaries and plan sponsors.
• Demonstrate detailed knowledge of retirement plans and Ascensus products.
• Coach and mentor colleagues to meet client expectations.
• Monitor and follow up on assigned items to resolve issues and deliver solutions.
• Communicate clearly with clients regarding services, execution and status throughout the service cycle.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and financial professionals and report on product and plan initiatives.
• Support vendor relationships and contribute to retention and growth efforts.
• Work to achieve service levels and growth targets for the book of business.
