Job summary

Ascensus is seeking a Client Services Consultant to deliver expert retirement plan support to partners, intermediaries and sponsors. You will apply your knowledge of ERISA and Ascensus products to resolve complex issues and provide proactive, value-added consulting.

Working with the Relationship Manager, you will safeguard data, manage client relationships, drive service levels and retention, and mentor teammates to exceed client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years of direct client experience in retirement services preferred.
• Certification (ASPPA, CEBS) or pursuing certification preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and time management abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, PowerPoint; ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative client service to plan sponsors and intermediaries.
• Serve as a technical resource and mentor to associates.
• Maintain relationships and coordinate with Relationship Manager.
• Identify and resolve client issues and escalate as needed.
• Ensure compliance and accurate plan administration tasks.
