Job summary

Ascensus is seeking a Client Services Consultant to deliver expert guidance on retirement plans and Ascensus products to partners, intermediaries and plan sponsors. You will work with the Relationship Manager to resolve complex issues, provide consultative service, and share knowledge to raise client satisfaction.

You will also mentor peers, maintain strong client relationships and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, while upholding Ascensus core values of People Matter,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 1–3 years direct client experience required; retirement services experience preferred.
• Certification (ASPPA, CEBS) preferred; strong communication and client service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative client service to partners, intermediaries and plan sponsors.
• Identify and resolve client issues; deliver research and creative solutions.
• Coach and mentor associates; support Relationship Manager to ensure client satisfaction.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and financial professionals; communicate product updates.
• Manage escalated items and collaborate across departments to improve processes.
