Job summary

Ascensus is seeking a Client Services Consultant in Charlotte, NC who partners with Relationship Managers to deliver expert retirement plan support. You will resolve complex plan issues, provide consultative service to clients and advisors, and act as a resource across the organization.

The role requires 3–5 years of client service experience in retirement services or a related field, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years direct client experience required; Retirement Services industry preferred.
• Certification or working towards ASPPA/CEBS preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate with all levels within Ascensus and clients.
• Experience with financial services systems (recordkeeping, trust, etc.) and office software (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative client service to partners, intermediaries and plan sponsors.
• Demonstrate retirement plan knowledge and Ascensus products to resolve complex issues.
• Coach and mentor associates to ensure client expectations are met.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and financial professionals; update product and plan initiatives.
• Manage key priorities and respond to escalated items with timely solutions.
