Job summary

Ascensus is seeking a Client Services Consultant to provide expert service to partners, intermediaries and plan sponsors, delivering consultative solutions for complex retirement plan issues. The role partners with Relationship Manager to ensure client satisfaction and operational excellence across Ascensus products and services.

The position emphasizes protecting confidential data, proactive issue resolution, and educating clients on plan features while mentoring others and driving service

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3-5 years direct client experience required, Retirement Services industry experience preferred.
• Certification or working towards certification (ASPPA, CEBS, etc.) in industry-related studies program preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent presentation skills, business etiquette, client service skills and time management.
• Demonstrated professionalism in all aspects of the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistently high level consultative client service while coordinating with clients and partners to address issues and deliver solutions.
• Demonstrate detailed knowledge of retirement plans and Ascensus products and services.
• Coach and mentor others in retirement plan and client relations to meet client needs.
• Monitor and follow up on assigned items; document and implement resolutions.
• Develop and maintain strong internal relationships across departments and locations.
