Job summary

Ascensus is seeking a Client Services Consultant to provide expert client service to partners, intermediaries and plan sponsors, leveraging retirement plan knowledge and Ascensus products to resolve complex issues. The role includes acting as a technical resource, coaching colleagues, and partnering with Relationship Managers to drive client satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1–3 years direct client experience required; retirement services experience preferred.
• Aspire for certification (ASPPA, CEBS) in related studies is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with all levels of the organization and clients.
• Strong presentation, etiquette, client service, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative client service to partners, intermediaries, and plan sponsors.
• Demonstrate knowledge of retirement plans and Ascensus products to resolve complex issues.
• Coach and mentor associates to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded.
• Maintain relationships with clients and financial professionals and communicate service updates.
• Support Relationship Manager in driving client retention and growth.
