Job summary

Ascensus seeks a Client Services Consultant to deliver expert retirement-plan guidance for partners, intermediaries, and plan sponsors. You will apply deep product and plan knowledge to resolve complex issues and provide proactive, value-added consulting.

You’ll collaborate with Relationship Managers, mentor peers, and ensure high client satisfaction through effective communication and problem resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1–3 years direct client experience; retirement services preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with all levels of the organization.
• Experience with financial services systems and plan recordkeeping is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative client service to partners, intermediaries and plan sponsors.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of retirement plans and Ascensus products.
• Coach and mentor associates to ensure client expectations are met.
• Monitor and follow-up on assigned items and resolve client issues.
• Communicate clearly with clients regarding services and outcomes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and financial professionals.
