Job summary

Torchy’s Tacos is seeking an Assistant Managing Partner to lead both kitchen and guest-facing operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and adherence to food safety and quality standards.

You will manage staffing, training, and scheduling across BOH and FOH while driving local marketing efforts and community engagement. The role emphasizes accountability, growth, and ongoing process improvement across operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of restaurant management experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to lead and develop diverse teams while maintaining high operational and hospitality standards.
• Comprehensive knowledge of food safety and restaurant operations best practices.
• State alcohol-server and Manager ServSafe certifications.
• Proficiency in managing budgets, schedules, and inventory.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 40 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee BOH and FOH operations to ensure a consistently exceptional guest experience.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, safety, cleanliness, and hospitality.
• Support and execute local store marketing initiatives to drive guest traffic.
• Hire, train, and schedule team members to meet staffing and operational needs.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering growth and accountability.
• Manage food costs, labor, and overall operational efficiency through planning and inventory.
