HMSHost in Arlington, VA seeks an experienced General Manager II to oversee a complex QSR or casual dining operation with annual sales over $4M. You will ensure the restaurant is clean, staffed, open for business, and run to high standards of operation and finance.

You will lead staffing, training, scheduling, and P&L management, deploy resources to maximize profitability, monitor performance, and coach teams to achieve goals while upholding brand standards and safety.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in multi-unit restaurant operations.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, costs and financial metrics.
• Ability to train, coach and develop front-of-house teams.

Responsibilities

• Open/close operations and ensure readiness for daily service.
• Deploy staff and resources to maximize profitability and meet objectives.
• Monitor inventory, supplier relations and equipment maintenance.
• Enforce brand standards, safety policies and compliance across the unit.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and performance reviews for restaurant staff.
• Communicate performance insights and coordinate with leadership on improvements.
