Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a General Manager II to lead a complex QSR or Casual Dine restaurant cluster near Detroit. You will oversee staffing, schedules, and drive profitability while upholding brand standards and safety policies.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will manage onboarding, training, and engagement across units, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and financial performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum years of restaurant people management experience are required.
• P&L responsibility and profitability focus across multiple units.

Responsibilities

• Open and close operations and ensure readiness for business.
• Deploy staff to maximize profitability and maintain coverage.
• Provide coaching and recognition to staff to achieve goals.
• Hire and promote staff and advocate HMSHost as employer of choice.
• Ensure onboarding, compliance and proper training for all associates.
• Monitor financial and operational data to drive unit performance.
• Recognize contributions and motivate teams through programs.
